Who is Kayla Murkison ?
I’m a UX Researcher/ Designer living in the Bay Area. I began my UX journey in November of 2021 at General Assembly in a UX Design Immersive Boot Camp. In less than a year, I have become proficient in different research methods such as user interviews, affinity mapping, comparative and competitive analysis and usability testing. I have also become well versed in sketching, wire framing and prototyping in Figma and Sketch. Initially, I was drawn to UX because I enjoy problem solving as much as I love the creative process. As an individual who’s identity intersects with a number of marginalized communities, it is natural for me to want to empathize and be inclusive of all users. My goal is to create products that allow users to feel seen and heard.
